Made in Texas Radio (MITR) is becoming a syndicated broadcast service supplying the 24-hour format to radio affiliates. Houston-based SuiteRadio is making the format available as a network program service to affiliates in (and out) of the Lone Star State. The format is pure distilled Texas, with lifestyle, travel and music features along with popular artist close-up sessions hosted by MITR personalities.

"We've already built the stage for authentic Texas Country Music, now broadcasters are invited to ride with us," said SuiteRadio COO Pat Fant.

Broadcast station affiliates will receive continuous live programming from SuiteRadio along with a broadcast automation system that integrates with traffic software, satellite feeds and any other localization. MITR network service gives stations flexibility to add live, local remotes, sports events and all the market features they need without giving up control.

Made in Texas Radio Operations Manager Keegan Lucas said, "Our affiliates get authentic Texas entertainment with plenty of radio muscle from industry greats that know this music inside and out. Plus, the MITR Live! series features the best of the best Texas country artists who have built a loyal following. MITR is tested and proven, and it's market exclusive."

"Texas music, like Texas itself is a whole 'nother animal," said RFC Media/SuiteRadio President Cruze. "Keegan has such a passion for the music, the musicians and the people that live this lifestyle. This on-air team knows the music and has built relationships with the artists over the station's successful run as a reporting Texas Country music outlet."

SuiteRadio Chief Talent Wrangler Rowdy Yates added, "MITR is at the center of connecting musicians and broadcasters who celebrate Texas heritage and culture, and then share that with the world. Radio is going to LOVE this! Radio listeners will too."

The MITR on-air lineup includes:

  • Keegan Lucas - Texas Country Music Association Award Winner and Operations Manager

  • Donna McKenzie - Texas Radio Hall of Fame and "Texas Radio Royalty" since the 80's

  • Cowboy Dave Bayless - Multiple award winner, Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association, Texas Country Music Association and years as co-host of KILT Houston's Morning Bull

  • Corliss (MITR Brand Ambassador) - Kickin' Around with Corliss brings Texas lifestyle to the air in this series of special travel & music features. Corliss has never met a Texas country radio award she has not won! (ask for the list)

  • J.B. Cloud - Author, 30-year Texas radio veteran (with multiple citations for excellence), Admiral in the Texas Navy and host of Red Dirt Proud with JB Cloud.

  • Jerry Wayne Longmire - Texas Humorist and the voice behind Made in Texas Radio. A former nuclear plant inspector and current social media success story. His flair for storytelling along with his authentic boots & buckle dialect made Jerry a natural for this high-tension role as backstage announcer for MITR.
