Audacy has partnered with Susan G. Komen, the world's leading nonprofit breast cancer organization. As part of the partnership, Audacy Milwaukee, which includes WSSP-AM (1250 The Fan), WMYX-FM (99.1 The Mix), WXSS-FM (103.7 Kiss FM) and WXSS-FM-HD2 (Hot 105.7), will become the official radio media sponsor of the organization's Wisconsin division. The stations will unite to support Susan G. Komen with a "One in Eight" program spotlighting the fact that one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.

On the eighth, eighteenth, and twenty-eighth day of each month, the stations will host a segment promoting healthy lifestyle behaviors. The behaviors will align with proactive risk reduction and management techniques, such as exercise, healthy eating and annual mammograms, and also address the importance of ensuring equitable access to breast cancer services for low-resource, underinsured neighbors and closing the gap in breast cancer outcomes experienced by black women in our community. Each topic will tie into Susan G. Komen's breast self-awareness messages: know your risk, get screened, know what is normal for you and make healthy lifestyle choices.

"We're proud to leverage our voice to inspire local community members to support the cause to end breast cancer in ways that unite Milwaukee and deliver much-needed funding," said Audacy Madison and Milwaukee Regional President Andrea Hansen. "Susan G. Komen is the leader in breast cancer research and the fight to find a cure and we're thrilled to team up with them to champion their mission."

Throughout the year, the stations will also share essential stories featuring local breast cancer survivors, patients and experts to highlight personal breast cancer risks, the need for research funding and the needs of the breast cancer community.

"It is exciting to join forces with Audacy to raise both awareness and support," said Komen Wisconsin Executive Director Nikki Panico. "Komen's unique 360-degree approach to fighting breast cancer empowers the entire community to support local breast cancer patients to ensure access to essential treatments, provide life-saving screenings and diagnostic tests for our most vulnerable neighbors, advocate for fair and essential public policies, and fuel vital break-through research into new treatments and the cures. Together we can create a world without breast cancer."

Audacy Milwaukee will also participate in Susan G. Komen's "More Than Pink Walk" on September 24 in Milwaukee and promote the event through on-air, digital and social media.
