''FOX Sports 94.7 FM Augusta''

Gray Radio partners with FOX Sports Radio to launch an all-new Sports station, FOX Sports 94.7 FM Augusta on WAAW-FM, effective July 3. The station, which was originally owned by soul music legend James Brown before it was acquired by entrepreneur Frank Neely in 2002 and then Gray Radio in 2023, will feature a complete lineup of live sports entertainment shows outside of play-by-play.

FOX Sports 94.7 FM Augusta will air FSR's complete roster of programs, including "Two Pros and a Cup of Joe with LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn & Jonas Knox," "The Dan Patrick Show," "The Herd with Colin Cowherd," "The Doug Gottlieb Show," "Covino & Rich," "The Odd Couple with Chris Broussard & Rob Parker," "The Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon" and "The Ben Maller Show." Plus, the station will feature FOX Sports Radio around the clock on weekends.

"WAAW is extremely excited to bring FOX Sports to local Augusta sports fans," said Gray Radio President/CEO Tony Gray. "We're confident that the home of the Masters Tournament will embrace the station's new format."
