All Access Music Group, a radio and music industry trade website, will be closing its operations on August 15. The company announced this decision in a statement, citing a significant decline in revenues that has made it impossible to continue. However, the website will remain accessible online for an unspecified period of time.
In the statement, All Access expressed that this was a difficult decision that was not made lightly. The company had made sincere efforts to find a way forward, but the challenges faced by the music industry, including major changes announced earlier in the year, had a profound impact on All Access. The financial difficulties extended beyond music partners and affected the overall functioning of the website. Unfortunately, the available resources are no longer sufficient to sustain the operation and support the staff.
Over two dozen staff members will be affected.
All Access Founder, President and Publisher Joel Denver, expressed deep sadness and heartbreak at the decision to cease publishing. Denver acknowledged the hard work and dedication of the talented professionals who contributed to the success of the website over the years.
Denver expressed gratitude towards the readers, marketing partners, clients, and contributing editors who supported All Access. The website had formed valuable partnerships and offered essential services to the radio and music communities, with nearly 100,000 active users benefiting from its offerings. All Access had also created editorial and service products throughout its history, such as All Access Downloads, First Alert and the Worldwide Radio Summit.
While the closure of All Access marks a significant moment, Joel Denver emphasized that this does not signify his retirement from the industry. He plans to take a moment to regroup and focus on new horizons and opportunities. Denver also encouraged others to consider the talented members of the All Access team for future employment, assuring that each individual was exceptional and deserving of high recommendations.
All Access expressed deep appreciation for the radio and music communities it served and thanked everyone involved for their support and contributions. Denver wished all readers, clients, and colleagues success in their future endeavors.
