Dick Broadcasting introduces Sports Betting Talk to North Carolina for the first time using content from VSiN, The Sports Betting Network. Rebranding from WRNS-AM (960 The Bull)/Greenville-New Bern to "Bet on the Bull 960 AM," the station has transitioned to Sports Betting Talk. The new format will provide listeners in the Greenville, New Bern and Jacksonville areas with access to sports betting content, as well as a local morning program, "The Bryan Hanks Show," "The Davis Wholesale Tire Game of the Week" and live Carolina Panthers play-by-play.
"As we started to look at new content options for the station, it was impossible to ignore the impact sports betting is having as it's legalized across the U.S.," said Dick Broadcasting Eastern North Carolina Market Manager Tony Denton. "We evaluated all of the offerings, and VSiN stood out as the best option for sports betting content. VSiN goes way beyond the traditional sports-talk format with unique content that you cannot find anywhere else. "Bet on the Bull 960 AM," BetontheBull.com, and the 960 The Bull app will be a destination anyone with a real passion for sports."
"VSiN is proud to be the engine behind North Carolina's first-ever sports betting radio format," said VSiN General Manager Len Mead. "We're excited to continue to expand our distribution footprint and inform and entertain sports fans in North Carolina and across the U.S."
