iHeartMedia Senior Vice President, Inside Sales Division Chuck Deskins will retire, effective December 31. He's been with the company for more than 32 years, beginning his career in Cincinnati as an Account Executive at WLW in 1987 when the company was known as Jacor Communications. Following Jacor's purchase by Clear Channel, Deskins served in his first management role as Local Sales Manager, General Sales Manager and Director of Sales in Tampa.

Following Tampa, Deskins then served as Market President in Atlanta in 2006, Vice President of Sales in Miami in 2008 and Vice President of Sales in Tampa from 2009 to 2014. After moving to roles as the owner/publisher of Coastal Angler Magazine and as a partner at Advantage Marketing advertising agency, Deskins returned to iHeart and joined the Inside Sales Division in 2018, where he was promoted to lead the Inside Sales Team in 2019.

Deskins' final role at iHeartMedia was SVP of the Inside Sales Division, a team of nearly 100 fulltime employees and over 75 Account Executives that offer iHeart's suite of broadcast, events, digital and podcast products to advertisers across all markets. In that role, Deskins managed iHeartMedia's largest individual Sales Team and created advertising opportunities for brands and iHeartMedia partners across the company's array of platforms.

"Chuck has been the very example of what iHeart is all about - hardworking, innovative, creative and, above all, a great teammate at each of his impressive career stops in our company. We're honored he spent so much of his career here, and will miss his expertise and leadership," said iHeartMedia President of Market Groups Hartley Adkins.

"I'm really going to miss my Inside Sales Family and all my iHeart friends across the country. What an awesome group. Thanks to everyone for making this an awesome ride," added Deskins.
