iHeartMedia WIOQ (Q102)/Philadelphia kicked off Tuesday "Bex & Buster's Christmas Kicks." Bex and Buster will host a series of broadcasts encouraging listeners to donate new sneakers that will be distributed to children all around the tri-state area in partnership with Cradles to Crayons.

Keystone Outdoor Advertising will also host a billboard takeover to promote this holiday campaign shutting down all other advertisers at 3pm on Friday, November 17 to help scale the reach of the initiative. For broadcast dates and locations or to donate listeners can go to q102.com.

"Bex & Buster's Christmas Kicks has quickly become a labor of love for Bex and myself," said Q102 air personality Buster. "We're thrilled to collect an even bigger number of shoes this year for community. We're very appreciative of our partners that have helped bring this to life and our listeners for donating to such an important cause."

"We all know the great feeling of having a pair of cool new shoes," commented Cradles to Crayons Executive Director Michal Smith. "New shoes give a kid confidence. New shoes can be a springboard to performing on a level playing field with peers. For a child living in poverty a new pair of branded sneakers can be a game changer. Thanks to Buster and Bex, the generous Q102 community donated so many great new sneakers and we cannot wait to see how we will do in 2023."
