Country WBWL-FM (101.7 The Bull)/Boston's eighth annual "Country Cares for St. Jude" Radiothon raised over $463,000 to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. "Country Cares for St. Jude Kids" was hosted locally by 101.7 The Bull's air personalities Amanda Jo Parker, Jessica Callahan and Brandon Clay. The broadcast aired on Thursday, December 7 and Friday, December 8 from 10am-7pm. The radiothon featured St. Jude patients and their families.

Listeners were encouraged to call in, text or go to thebull1017.com/give to become a St. Jude Partner In Hope, a program where donors make $19 monthly donations to St. Jude. Additionally, the station held a benefit concert on December 4 that featured Brian Kelley, Chase Matthew, Kassi Ashton and Drew Baldridge.

"Our listeners are incredibly generous and stepped up to help the kids of St. Jude," said 101.7 The Bull Program Director Joey Brooks. "St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is an amazing place, and we are honored to help in the fight to make sure that no child is ever turned away for treatment, and that one day no child will die from cancer. Congrats to the entire iHeartMedia Boston team on another incredible Radiothon!"

Over the past eight years, 101.7 The Bull has raised over $3.5 million to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and was named the 2019 St. Jude Partner Station of the Year.
