KTIS-FM/Minneapolis, along with generous donors, recently showcased the resilience and courage of 12 families by extending heartwarming acts of kindness during the Christmas season. Each family was nominated by a KTIS listener. Through the Christmas Blessing initiative, recipients received assistance that ranged from fulfilling last wishes to providing essential support during challenging times.

From sending a terminally ill 8-year-old boy on a memorable trip to Florida, to aiding a single mother in need of housing and rent, each family demonstrated courage, strength and hope.

"There aren't enough words to describe the honor it is to walk alongside our Christmas Blessing families," said KTIS Audience Engagement Manager Amy Mulvihill. "God's hand was evident in each story told. We are so thankful to the friends of the ministry that made this happen."

Dawn Roehrick, whose family's Christmas trip was rescheduled due to a workplace accident, expressed overwhelming gratitude, saying, "Thank you, Jesus! I don't even know what to say or how to say 'thank you.' But please know we appreciated this trip more than you know."

Perhaps one of the most poignant moments was for baby Carly's family, whose home was renovated due to continuous flooding while she was waiting for a heart transplant. Jeannie, Carly's mother, exclaimed, "This is the most amazing blessing ever. We knew it was a sign from God." Carly received a heart during this time, marking a miraculous turn of events.
