Christian Contemporary KTSY/Boise, ID will celebrate morning host Dave Arthur's retirement at an on-air party on Friday, January 12 from 6-10am at the Lucky Perk Coffee in Meridian. He joined the on-air team in 2001 and pre-recorded middays from his home in Portland, OR, at the time. Then, in 2011, Arthur and his family returned to Boise to anchor the morning show, which started a 12-year run. He has worked with three co-hosts and most recently, Arthur trained Tristi Hendrick -- who will become the solo anchor of the KTSY morning show.

Not only has Arthur been on the morning show since 2011, but he's also served KTSY as the Music Director, Program Director, sounding board for Brian, cheerleader for the whole team and consummate prankster.

This year has brought some big challenges for Arthur. After spending time off the air dealing with health challenges, he and his wife decided it was time for Dave to refocus and get off the grind of getting up so early. So, Arthur has retired from KTSY where the team says he will be deeply missed.

The public is invited to join KTSY in celebrating Arthur at the live, on-air party on January 12th, at Lucky Perk in Meridian from 6-10am.
