For the 16th year WGH-FM (97.3 The Eagle)/Norfolk will conduct the largest wedding celebration in Hampton Roads, the St. Valentine's Day Mass Wedding, on Wednesday, February 14th at Rivers Casino Portsmouth. This Valentine's Day dozens of couples will be simultaneously tying the knot in matrimony along with family, friends and the 97.3 The Eagle staff. The ceremony will begin at noon on Wednesday.

VP/General Manager Keith Barton remarked, "The first Mass Wedding I remember with The Eagle was 1999. I've witnessed 15 mass weddings since then. One of which, we had Keith Urban sing the first dance song at a converted bowling alley on Military Hwy. Having this year's event at one of Hampton Roads newest entertainment venues only makes it more special. We truly have made Valentine's Day a memorable event here at The Eagle."

After exchanging vows, our Mass Wedding newlyweds will be treated to a champagne toast and a very special first dance performance of "Prayed for You" by recording artist Matt Stell.

"The Eagle's St. Valentine's Day Mass Wedding is such a fun event because everyone involved is so happy! I love that it is at Rivers Casino this year. That makes the party even bigger," said Max Media Director of Operations and WGH-FM 97.3 The Eagle Program Directo, Mike "Moose" Smith.
