Cox Media Group has cancelled "The Mark Kaye Show" and replaced it with "The Erick Erickson Show." Kaye's program had aired from noon-3pm on the company's News/Talk outlets. The show aired in Jacksonville, Dayton, Tulsa and Augusta, among others. The program was launched into syndication to replace the late Rush Limbaugh. Previously, Kaye was morning co-host of WAPE/Jacksonville's The Big Ape Morning Mess before transitioning over to WAPE's sister news station WOKV-FM to focus on his talk show.

In a memo to staffers, Cox Media Group/Jacksonville Vice President and Market Manager Jimmy Farrell wrote, "Earlier today we let Mark Kaye know that we're no longer continuing with The Mark Kaye Show. The show's last airing was today. Moving forward, we're excited to transition to The Erick Erickson Show weekdays from 12-3pm."
