iHeartMedia/Washington, DC inks an extension to its partnership agreement with D.C. United to deliver local radio broadcast for all of the club's 2024 Major League Soccer regular season matches, effective through the end of the 2024 season. As part of the agreement, all of the team's 2024 Major League Soccer regular season matches will be available live on WTSD-AM (1190 iHeart Sports DC) WWDC-FM-HD2 and the iHeartRadio App.

Veteran broadcaster Dave Johnson, who has called games for D.C. United since the club's inception in 1996, will lead the production as the play-by-play commentator. Bruce Murray, former United States Men's National Team player (1985-1993, 85 caps and 21 goals) and DMV native, will accompany Johnson.

"We are looking forward to extending our partnership with iHeartMedia and continuing to provide our fans with radio broadcasts featuring D.C. United and DMV legend, Dave Johnson, alongside Bruce Murray," said D.C. United President of Business Operations Danita Johnson. "At the beginning of the season, we renamed our broadcast booth at Audi Field to The Dave Johnson Broadcast Booth to honor Dave for being an integral and continued pillar of D.C. United's rich culture since 1996."

He added, "Through our partnership with iHeartMedia, we can provide multiple media options to serve all D.C. United fans watching the game, especially for fans who have built their connections to the club through Dave Johnson's legendary commentary."

"It is incredibly exciting to once again partner with D.C. United, Danita Johnson and sports broadcast legend Dave Johnson with Bruce Murray by his side," said iHeartMedia Washington DC & Baltimore Region President Aaron Hyland. "We are looking forward to delivering the live action and excitement of D.C. United soccer to fans in the DMV and beyond utilizing iHeartMedia's unmatched reach in broadcast, podcast and streaming audio."
