Audacy elevates PJ Kumanchik to Brand Manager of KDKA News Radio in Pittsburgh. He previously served as the station's News Manager and succeeds Dave LaBrozzi, who recently announced his retirement. Kumanchik is a Pittsburgh native with a 35-year tenure at Audacy, where he has worked in multiple capacities at both KDKA and KDKA-FM (93.7 The Fan) as News Producer and editor, morning producer, sports producer and Program Director.

Kumanchik has also served as Executive Producer of Pitt Panther Football broadcasts on 93.7 The Fan for nine years and started his career as a part-time Producer of "The Big K Morning Show" in 1989.

"I first want to congratulate Dave on an incredible career. It has been a privilege to work with him over the past two years," said Audacy Pittsburgh Senior Vice President and Market Manager Michael Spacciapolli. "We're delighted to promote PJ, a mainstay at KDKA for the last 35 years. The trust he has built within our organization and with listeners and partners makes him a great fit to steward this iconic brand into the future as we grow on many levels."

"I look forward to working with our leadership team, including Michael, to boost the momentum we have created at KDKA News Radio in the past couple of years," added Kumanchik. "As the Voice of Pittsburgh, we will continue to provide news-driven talk that encourages interactions from our listeners."
