Hall Communications WONN (1230) and W296CS (107.1) in Lakeland, FL debuted a Sports/Talk format on Monday August 5, joining the FOX Sports Radio network. Sports fans in Polk County, FL will receive coverage of regional and national sports, commentary and discussions on the all-new FOX Sports Radio Lakeland.

"We are excited to embark on this new chapter in Central Florida media," said Hall Communications VP of Programming Bob Walker. "The move to Fox Sports Radio allows us to deliver dynamic content that resonates with sports fans across Lakeland and Polk County. Fox Sports Radio has an amazing line-up of the most popular sports talk shows, and we're so pleased to be a part of their family."

In addition to the FOX Sports Radio lineup that includes Dan Patrick and Colin Cowherd, WONN will broadcast University of Florida Football and Men's Basketball games. Tampa Bay Buccaneers football games will move to from WLKF (Talk Radio 96.7) to the all-new FOX Sports Radio Lakeland starting with the pre-season.
