Wondery is teaming up with Mills Entertainment, a producer and promoter of live entertainment experiences, for a multi-year collaboration to produce live tours based on Wondery's podcast series. The first of the live experiences kicks off this fall with Wondery's true crime collection "Exhibit C," bringing the popular true crime podcast Dr. Death to the stage.

The live tour titled "Exhibit C Live Presents: Dr. Death - A Closer Look," begins in November, 2024, diving into the unsettling true stories of medical malpractice and lapses of accountability brought to light by the acclaimed podcast. Pre-sale tickets will be available starting August 6 for Wondery+ subscribers, and to the general public starting on Friday, August 9. A full list of tour dates and additional information including participating panelists and ticket availability can be found at www.drdeathlive.com.

"Wondery is excited to extend the fan experience into new areas, meeting audiences wherever they are," said Wondery Chief Brand Officer Nicole Blake. "We're thrilled to work with the team at Mills Entertainment, a leading producer and promoter of live tours, to create unforgettable, live experiences that engage fans and bring these gripping stories from Dr. Death to life in a whole new way."

This collaboration marks a milestone for Wondery as its first live tour, following an initial one-night only "Exhibit C: A True Crime Experience Live" event that took place at New York's Gotham Hall in October, 2023. Wondery is pioneering audio-first entertainment and strategically expanding into new categories and formats including TV, books and now Live Tours to surprise and delight existing fans and to reach new audiences, when and where they consume content. Additional live shows based on other Wondery content will be announced soon.

"Wondery's boundary-pushing content is incredibly well-suited for transition to live entertainment," added Mills Entertainment SVP of Live Touring Simone Gianfrancesco. "Dr. Death brings to light critical real-life stories that connect with listeners of all ages and backgrounds. We are excited to work with Wondery to create immersive live experiences that will transport fans into the heart of these vital stories, and this is just the beginning."
