WWPR-FM (Power 105.1) in New York announces the return of the sixth annual Angela Yee Day, hosted by Angela Yee, the host of "Way Up." This year's celebration will take place on Sunday, September 1, from 12-5pm ET at Barclays Center Ticketmaster Plaza in Brooklyn, NY. The event will showcase high-energy performances by dancehall sensation Teejay, known for his hit single "Drift," alongside Malie Donn, LAILA!, Breezylyn, Pressure Busspipe, Jay Swiishes and IKaya with additional artists to be announced.

Proud of Angela Yee Day include U.S. Virgin Islands, U.S. Army New York City Recruiting Command, 800-PAIN-LAW, Brooklyn Dumpling Shop, Wicked The Musical on Broadway, Mercer plus Prince by A$AP Rocky and Valentino Beauty.

Established on August 28, 2018, when former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio honored Angela Yee for her ongoing community contributions, Angela Yee Day has grown into a key event in New York City. Now in its sixth year, it heralds the start of Labor Day weekend, celebrated for the West Indian Day Parade and a variety of festivities that highlight Caribbean culture and pride.
