Good Karma Brands officially launches 880 ESPN in New York, marking an expansion in sports radio coverage for the region. Beginning Monday, the content heard on 98.7 FM will air on the 880 AM signal. ESPN New York will maintain its presence on two frequencies, 880 AM airing the current local, weekday lineup and 1050 AM airing the ESPN Radio Network. 880 ESPN New York will also be available on 101.1 FM HD2. 880 AM and 98.7 FM will simulcast until August 30, which will be the last day ESPN will be heard on 98.7 FM.

ESPN New York is now the home for all 162 New York Mets games, including any postseason matchups. The Sports outlet will also serve as the flagship for the New York Knicks and Rangers, whose games previously aired on 98.7 FM.

ESPN New York Market Manager Vinny DiMarco stated, "We are very proud to be stewards of the 880 AM signal, allowing us to extend our local content to a larger audience. The 880 AM signal is a clear channel, meaning it can be heard not only across much of the eastern United States but also in parts of Eastern Canada, especially at night. This expansion and investment is a testament to our commitment to providing unparalleled sports coverage for our listeners and unique opportunities for our advertising partners."
