Audacy launches "Emma 94.1" on KSWD-FM, a new voice for Seattle women. Most recently known as "94.1 The Sound," the new outlet will air the best music from the 90s, 2000s and today and feature artists such as Bruno Mars, Harry Styles, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Maroon 5, Pink, Taylor Swift and more. The station subsequently announces Eric Powers as Brand Manager, overseeing content strategy, talent, operations and branding.

"Serving Seattle's best variety from the 90s, 2000s and today, Emma 94.1 is more than just a radio station; it's a lifestyle, a soundtrack and a community," said Audacy Seattle Regional President Dave Pugh. "We're excited to connect with the heart of the Pacific Northwest and give them a home for a unique blend of music they won't hear anywhere else."

Powers has over 30 years in Seattle radio and has served as Brand Manager and afternoon host of sister KHTP-FM (Hot 103.7) since 2017. Previous positions include Westwood One's national Hot AC voice, Program Director for KBKS-FM and PD/afternoon host for KUBE-FM. Powers can currently be heard on weekdays on Hot 103.7 from 2-6pm PT.
