Beasley Stations to Collect Items for Hurricane Relief

Beasley Media Group announces WNKS (Kiss 95.1), WPEG (Power 98), WSOC (Country 1037), WBAV (V 101.9) and WKQC (K104.7) will host an event to collect supplies for those affected by Hurricane Helene in the Carolinas. The supply drive will take place on Tuesday, October 8th, beginning at 6am from the BMG Studios located at 1520 South Blvd in Charlotte, NC. The supplies will be donated to the Lincolnton-Lincoln County Airport, who will then make deliveries to those in need.

Listeners are encouraged to bring items such as baby wipes, baby formula, bug spray, cleaning supplies and more. The full list of requested items can be found on the station websites. Used clothes, glass bottles, and flammable items will not be accepted. Listeners are also encouraged to make monetary donations to the American Red Cross via the station websites.

"We're excited to use the power of local radio to help our neighbors after this tragic disaster," said Beasley Media Group Vice President of Music & Entertainment and Charlotte Operations Manager, John Reynolds. "We look forward to getting them the items that they need during this difficult time."
