In a significant expansion of its content library, PodcastOne has secured sales and distribution rights to "Pop Apologists," a popular podcast that delves into pop culture, hosted by sisters Lauren and Chanler. "Pop Apologists" has climbed the Apple Charts since its inception in 2020, becoming a favorite for its engaging and insightful commentary on celebrity news and trending topics.

Originally started as phone conversations between the sisters post-college, the podcast has evolved into a professional production recorded in New York, featuring a lineup of notable guests including Heather Gay, Arielle Lorre and Ryan Bailey, among others. The bi-weekly show has successfully cultivated a dedicated following by blending wit with in-depth analysis of the entertainment world.

PodcastOne President Kit Gray expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, noting, "Lauren and Chan have built an incredible brand that speaks to a diverse audience. Their unique voice and authentic approach to pop culture make this acquisition a perfect fit in our established network of female-focused programming."
