Educational Media Foundation (EMF), operator of Christian radio networks K-LOVE and Air1, has successfully raised over $2.5 million to assist with hurricane relief efforts in the Eastern United States. This substantial sum was gathered through a concerted on-air fundraising campaign aimed at aiding victims of Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

Listeners of K-LOVE and Air1 showed remarkable generosity, enabling Convoy of Hope, EMF's partner in this initiative, to extend its support to more than 50,000 families in affected areas, including Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Virginia, and particularly in Eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina, regions severely impacted by the storms.

Convoy of Hope Vice President of Public Engagement Ethan Forhetz expressed his gratitude, noting the critical role this support plays in their mission. "This partnership empowers us to continue providing essential aid and spiritual support to tens of thousands of hurricane survivors who are facing incredibly challenging times," said Forhetz. The efforts of K-LOVE, Air1, and their listeners exemplify a tangible manifestation of faith and compassion during times of despair.

Convoy of Hope, a faith-based nonprofit organization, collaborates with local churches to distribute vital resources like food, water, and building supplies, while also offering debris removal services and emotional support. The impact of their work is profound, as illustrated by the experience of a Florida mother who shared her heartfelt encounter with the organization. Overwhelmed by the support she received, she highlighted the emotional and spiritual comfort provided during her time of need.

To date, Convoy of Hope has distributed 4.5 million pounds of supplies to over 190,000 individuals across the six states affected by the hurricanes. The organization has committed to maintaining its presence in the hardest-hit areas until at least 2025.

EMF Chief Media Officer David Pierce emphasized the importance of their mission, saying, "We are grateful for the opportunity to stand with Convoy of Hope to help those in need at this critical time. Thanks to the outrageous generosity of the K-LOVE and Air1 audiences, our neighbors in need are being helped both physically and spiritually. To God be the Glory!"
