iHeartMedia/Los Angeles Reveals Leadership Promotions

iHeartMedia has announced key leadership promotions in Los Angeles. Jeff Thomas (pictured), a 26-year company veteran, is elevated to EVP of Sales and Business Development for the market, continuing to lead sales in addition to now overseeing iHeartMedia Los Angeles' Local News Talk Endorsement Network and iHeartCX, iHeart's retail in-store radio network. Previously, he was RVP of Sales in Los Angeles. Additionally, Adam Wolfson has been elevated to SVP of Sales.

"We've seamlessly linked the top News-Talk hosts in the country into one easy-to-buy network, offering network scale in local markets," said iHeartMedia Division President Paul Corvino. "In addition, iHeart CX gives retailers best-in-class music programming along with ad campaigns that will make their in-store media budgets even more efficient. Jeff has an impressive track record in the LA market, and I can't think of a better person to lead this effort and create new revenue opportunities."

"I'm grateful for the opportunity to lead two additional growth areas for iHeart while continuing my leadership role within the market," added Thomas. "With Adam and our veteran sales leadership team at the helm, I expect to provide even more innovation and high-level service for our advertisers. Adam is a true people leader and has the forward-thinking mindset to grow our business and build success for marketers."

Wolfson has been with iHeart Los Angeles for four years and has more than 15 years of industry experience in leadership positions with Audacy and Cox Media Group in Los Angeles, Atlanta, and NY.

In addition, Tracy Barrios will become Senior VP of Operations for Los Angeles. Barrios just completed her 30th year with iHeart, rising through the ranks in traffic, revenue management and most recently as VP of Sales Operations.

"Tracy is one of the best problem solvers I have ever worked with and understands our brands, day-to-day market operations and the sales process inside and out," said Corvino. "Giving Tracy the opportunity to paint with a broader brush and impact our division more holistically is a no-brainer."

With this new strategic alignment, Julie Martzke will also be elevated to SVP of National and Event Sales for Los Angeles. Martzke's long history with iHeart spans 14 years, as she has successfully overseen top iHeart brands such as KIIS, KOST and MYFM. "Julie has an unprecedented track record for leading teams to success and has a passion for experiential partnerships, and we're excited to see her thrive in this new role," said Thomas.

All the moves are effective immediately.
