CNN Audio has announced the debut of "Terms of Service," a weekly podcast aimed at unraveling the complexities of emerging technologies that are becoming integral to daily life. Hosted by CNN tech writer Clare Duffy, the series promises to shed light on a range of technologies from facial recognition to artificial intelligence, providing a guide for safely navigating these advancements.

The podcast will feature discussions with technology leaders, CNN's own reporters and other experts to explore the implications and applications of modern tech. According to Duffy, the goal is to become "an essential resource" for understanding and integrating these technologies into daily routines without being overwhelmed.

The launch includes two episodes; the first features a conversation with lawyer Carrie Goldberg about the dangers of deepfake technologies, while the second episode with author Leah Plunkett delves into the privacy concerns of sharing children's lives online.

Duffy brings a background in tech reporting to the podcast, having previously won accolades for her work on Google's 2023 layoffs and disparities in small business lending. "Terms of Service" is available on various podcast platforms every Tuesday, starting today.
