MeatEater renews and expands its partnership with iHeartMedia. The new multi-year agreement will amplify the MeatEater Podcast Network, which features 11 weekly podcasts across six channels, leveraging iHeartMedia's distribution and sales expertise to accelerate growth. Originally launched in 2021, the partnership has elevated MeatEater's flagship show, "The MeatEater Podcast with Steven Rinella."

The podcast currently ranks number one in the Wilderness category and frequently breaks into the top 10 for all Sports podcasts, according to Chartable. It has garnered more than 37,000 listener reviews and maintains an average score of 4.9/5 on Apple Podcasts.

Available every Monday on major podcast platforms and YouTube, the show serves as the cornerstone of MeatEater's network, offering insights on hunting, fishing, conservation, and outdoor living. Additional content includes MeatEater Trivia on Wednesdays and the live-streamed MeatEater Radio Live on Thursdays, broadening the network's reach and engagement.

The partnership's renewal also includes plans to create co-produced podcasts focused on outdoor activities, conservation and wild foods. Popular existing shows like Wired to Hunt with Mark Kenyon, Cal of the Wild with Ryan Callaghan, and Bear Grease with Clay Newcomb continue to dominate the Wilderness podcast category and are now also available in video format on YouTube.

To celebrate the new deal, MeatEater is bringing back its MeatEater Kids series for a special holiday run. The five-episode season, airing from November 25 to December 27, is designed for family co-listening, combining trivia and outdoor-focused storytelling. New seasons are planned for 2025.

"We're thrilled to extend our partnership with iHeartMedia," said MeatEater Chief Content Officer Andrew Barge. "iHeart has consistently supported and challenged us to grow, and we're excited to bring even more outdoor storytelling to our audience."

iHeartPodcasts President Will Pearson echoed the sentiment, "The MeatEater Podcast Network is a unique resource for connecting audiences with nature. We're proud to help bring these shows to listeners everywhere, including families through the return of MeatEater Kids."

MeatEater podcasts, including new co-productions, will continue to be available on iHeartRadio and all major podcast platforms.
