Ex-Cumulus Podcast Exec Wordock to Help Those Laid Off

Former Cumulus Podcast Network Senior Vice President John Wordock is extending a helping hand to media professionals who lost their jobs in 2024. In the spirit of the holiday season, Wordock is offering one hour of free consulting services to assist those transitioning into podcasting as a new career path.

"This has been a tough year for many in the media world," said Wordock. "The second half of 2024 was especially brutal as a wave of layoffs hit America's top radio companies. In the spirit of the season, I'm offering my time and knowledge to help people get back on their feet professionally."

Wordock, an award-winning podcaster, played a helped build the Cumulus Podcast Network into one of the industry's top ten networks. After departing from Cumulus Media earlier this year, he launched his own consulting firm, John Wordock Media. With nearly two decades in podcasting, including work with The Wall Street Journal and MarketWatch.com, Wordock is now focusing on helping others navigate the growing podcasting space.
