iHeartMedia and the Empire State Building have announced a special holiday celebration, the "iHeartRadio Holiday Pop Up Party with Meghan Trainor," set to entertain New Yorkers and visitors alike with a music-to-light show atop the recently crowned world's #1 travel attraction. The Empire State Building, which garnered top honors in Tripadvisor's 2024 Travelers' Choice Awards, will light up the skyline in a festive event on December 20.

Hosted by Z100's Crystal Rosas, the event will broadcast live across iHeartRadio stations nationwide. The highlight of the evening will be recording artist Meghan Trainor activating the tower's holiday light show, synchronized to her rendition of "Jingle Bells." The Empire State Building's 80th floor will serve as the venue for an intimate gathering featuring an interview with Trainor, hosted by Rosas, and a live Q&A session with fans.

This 10-minute special is scheduled to air at 9pm local time across iHeartRadio's AC, Hot AC and CHR stations and on the iHeartChristmas Pop digital station at 9pm ET.

Adding to the holiday cheer, from December 20-25, iHeartRadio stations Z100, 103.5 KTU, and 106.7 Lite FM will synchronize the broadcast of "Jingle Bells" to the Empire State Building's light show each evening at 7pm ET.

Meghan Trainor expressed her enthusiasm about the event, stating, "The holidays are my favorite time of the year, and celebrating with iHeartRadio at the Empire State Building, synced to my song, is a dream come true for the holiday season."

The Empire State Building has entrusted the light show's choreography to Marc Brickman and his Tactical Manoeuvre team, known for their work with thousands of LED lights that will illuminate the building. Fans not in New York can view the spectacle live via EarthCam on the Empire State Building's website, with a replay available on YouTube from December 20.

In addition to the light show, the Empire State Building's holiday festivities will include lavish decorations, Santa visits, and a series of holiday events like Fifth Avenue window displays by Ghirardelli Chocolate, a Winter Wonderland at the Starbucks Reserv, classic movie screenings and special lighting ceremonies.
