WKNR-AM (850 ESPN Cleveland) is set to host its annual "Wish Day" radiothon on Thursday, December 12th, from 9am to 1pm, benefiting Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana. This noteworthy event, renowned for its significant contributions over the years, has collectively raised more than $100,000 to help fulfill the wishes of children with critical illnesses.

Listeners can tune into 850 ESPN Cleveland or join the livestream on the @ESPNCleveland850 YouTube channel to participate in the festivities. The event commenced on Tuesday, December 3rd, and will culminate during "The Really Big Show" hosted by Tony Rizzo and Aaron Goldhammer, who is also a Regional Advisory Board Member for Make-A-Wish in Northern Ohio.

The radiothon centers around soliciting donations from listeners, who can bid on various prize incentives. The contributions go directly towards supporting the charitable efforts of Make-A-Wish to bring joy and hope to children and their families.

Tony Rizzo, a staple in local sports broadcasting, shared his enthusiasm about the event, stating, "We cover playoff games and all the marquee matchups, but Wish Day is one of my favorite days of the year; it's definitely the most rewarding."
