KJEB-FM (95.7 The Jet) in Seattle has concluded its 22nd annual "Bender's One Big Give" radiothon, amassing over $813,400 in donations. The 13-hour event, held on December 10 from 6am to 7pm at Seattle Children's Building Cure Research Center, supports the Uncompensated Care Fund at Seattle Children's Hospital, ensuring all regional children receive necessary care regardless of their families' financial capabilities.

This year's radiothon was spearheaded by hosts Jodi and Bender, who engaged the community through heartfelt appeals for donations. Since its inception, "Bender's One Big Give" has raised a remarkable total of over $18.7 million for the hospital.

iHeartMedia Area President for Washington State Mark Glynn, praised the event's impact: "For 22 years, 'Bender's One Big Give' has been a cornerstone of support for Seattle Children's Hospital. Bender and Jodi's dedication to our community is not just commendable; it is inspirational. Their efforts remind us of the profound influence kindness and community can have."

Bender, morning host and Chair of Seattle Children's Hospital Corporate Leadership Council, expressed his awe at the community's generosity: "It's incredible to see what our audience can achieve. Each year, they surpass previous donations, and this year's $813k is a testament to their generosity. I'm eagerly looking forward to what we can accomplish next year!"

Dondi Cupp, Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer at Seattle Children's, also acknowledged the overwhelming support: "We are deeply grateful for this year's Radiothon. Every donation, big or small, contributes to our ability to provide essential care. A heartfelt thank you to Bender, Jodi, the entire iHeart team, our corporate sponsors, and every volunteer and donor who played a part in this success."

The funds raised through "Bender's One Big Give" will directly support the hospital's mission to provide top-tier medical care to every child in need, solidifying the community's role in fostering a healthier future for all children in the Seattle area.
