iHeartMedia Ups Nicky Sparrow to EVP of Multicultural Sales

iHeartMedia has announced promotions within its executive ranks, emphasizing its commitment to multicultural markets. Nicky Sparrow is appointed as the new Executive Vice President of Multicultural Sales, and Dee Dee Faison will take over as Vice President of Multicultural Partnerships and Alliances. Both will directly report to iHeartMedia President of Multicultural Business and Development Tony Coles.

Sparrow, in her elevated role, will enhance advertising outcomes by utilizing iHeartMedia's resources, including The Black Effect Podcast Network and My Cultura Podcast Network. She brings 25 years of experience within iHeartMedia, where she has notably held senior management and sales roles across various major markets. Sparrow serves on several boards including the Radio Advertising Bureau and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, where she was recently honored as the 2024 Partner of the Year.

Dee Dee Faison's promotion to Vice President will see her developing and leading partnership programs aimed at scaling iHeartMedia's strategic multicultural initiatives. Faison joined iHeartMedia in 2020 from previous roles at Sony Music, Initiative Media and as the Director of Client Success.

President of Multicultural Business and Development Tony Coles expressed enthusiasm about the promotions, noting, "We're excited to officially elevate Nicky and Dee Dee to our executive team. Their expertise and innovative approaches are crucial as we continue to connect our diverse clients and partners with our multicultural audiences."
