BFOA Offers Emergency Grants to Los Angeles Broadcasters
RADIO ONLINE | Thursday, January 9, 2025 |
As wildfires intensify across the Los Angeles region, the Broadcasters Foundation of America (BFOA) is stepping forward to support local broadcasters impacted by the ongoing disaster. Tim McCarthy, President of the BFOA, announced the availability of Emergency Grants to assist those in the broadcasting industry who are facing hardships due to the fires.
The foundation has expedited its grant application process to ensure swift financial aid, recognizing that affected individuals often face disruptions that delay their ability to seek help. The process is designed to provide relief typically within a few weeks, a crucial factor as many victims lack immediate access to internet and other resources in the aftermath of such disasters.
Broadcasters in need of assistance can apply online at broadcastersfoundation.org or contact the foundation directly through their emergency phone line at 212-373-8250 for support.
