Salem Media Group Announces New Board Members

Salem Media Group appoints Richard von Gnechten and Jim Renacci to its board of directors, effective January 7. Both appointees will stand for election for a full term at the company's 2025 Annual Meeting of Stockholders.
Edward G. Atsinger III, Salem Media Group's Executive Chairman, expressed his enthusiasm for the new board members, stating, "I am delighted that Messrs. von Gnechten and Renacci have agreed to serve on Salem's Board of Directors. Their extensive backgrounds are a tremendous asset to Salem Media Group."
Richard von Gnechten, currently the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Gift Strategist at WaterStone, brings nearly three decades of senior financial executive experience across diverse sectors including financial services, healthcare, and real estate. Notably, he has helped grow assets from $400 million to $1.2 billion as CFO/COO of a registered investment advisor. His previous roles include CFO for a $2 billion diversified U.S. public company and leadership positions in various consulting capacities. Von Gnechten, a committed Christian leader, has also served on multiple boards and as a Sunday School teacher.
Jim Renacci, former U.S. Congressman and member of key committees such as Ways and Means, and Financial Services, brings a wealth of business and legislative experience. As a legislator, he was instrumental in crafting the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs bill and has a strong track record in healthcare management, mergers & acquisitions. Renacci has owned and operated over 60 business entities, demonstrating a profound impact on job creation and business operations in Ohio and beyond.
