United Stations Radio Networks (USRN) launches "LIVELINE," a new live broadcast targeting CHR and Hot AC formats. The show promises a fresh approach by broadcasting entirely live. It will be available both on weeknights and weekends, providing flexibility for stations to syndicate either or both formats.
Hosted by Mason, "LIVELINE" aims to connect with listeners ages 18-49 through a blend of current hits, celebrity news and direct listener interaction. Mason's approach is informed by his understanding of social media and trends, making him particularly relatable to a younger audience.
The creation of "LIVELINE" is the brainchild of John Garabedian, a 35-year radio veteran, who's worked in major markets such as Atlanta, Boston and Miami. Garabedian seeks to blend traditional broadcasting with the immediacy and excitement of live interaction.
Gemini XIII and USRN VP of Entertainment & Special Projects Scott Meyers expressed enthusiasm about the program's unique format. "In an era of pre-recorded content, 'LIVELINE' brings back the genuine connection of live radio. We are excited about its potential to become a staple in nighttime radio, just as our other programs have seen substantial growth," said Meyers.
