Beasley Media/New Jersey Names AJ Lurie as VP/Cluster Manager

Beasley Media Group appoints AJ Lurie as VP and Cluster Manager for its New Jersey-based radio properties. Lurie, who has been actively involved with Beasley's operations in Fort Myers, will now oversee a lineup of stations including WDHA-FM, WMGQ-FM, WCTC-AM, WRAT-FM, WMTR-AM and WJRZ-FM. Lurie's previous posts include Director of Local Market Integrated Partnerships and Market Manager for Beasley's WJBR-FM in Wilmington, DE.

Brian Beasley, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Beasley Media Group, expressed his confidence in Lurie's abilities, citing his proven experience and dedication to local community engagement as key factors in his appointment. "AJ's ability to drive results and his commitment to localism made him the perfect choice to lead our New Jersey cluster into the future," said Brian Beasley.

In response to his appointment, Lurie expressed his enthusiasm for his new role and his commitment to building upon the existing successes of the New Jersey stations. "I look forward to working alongside the talented team in New Jersey to continue delivering exceptional results for our listeners, advertisers, and communities," Lurie stated. He also acknowledged the high standards set by his predecessor, Dan Finn, who is set to retire at the end of March 2025 after a distinguished career with Beasley.
