Red Apple Music Networks has announced national syndication of "The Vinnie Medugno Show," expanding the reach of the program beyond its origins at 77WABC in New York. The show, which airs live for one hour on Saturdays, features a mix of '60s hits, with occasional nods to the music of the '50s and '70s.
Medugno has performed live at oldies concerts across the greater New York City area. He also hosts live rock & roll concerts, keeping the audience engaged between acts. As such, 77WABC decided to groom him for an on-air role. Before taking the helm of his own show, Medugno worked as a part-time producer, fill-in host, and board operator at various stations in New York.
Chad Lopez, President of Red Apple Media and 77WABC, praised Medugno's unique approach: "Vinnie brings a fresh perspective to the oldies genre. His ability to connect with the audience and share intriguing anecdotes about the hits of the '60s has made his show a must-listen."
Medugno shared his enthusiasm about the national expansion: "It feels like all my professional experiences have aligned perfectly with this opportunity. I love engaging with our listeners and inviting guests to recount their musical journeys. I'm excited to bring this passion and energy to a nationwide audience."
