Marketron has once again distinguished itself in the world of B2B marketing by clinching the Sales Enablement Content of the Year award at the Killer Content Awards, also known as Finnys. This year's accolade marks the second victory for its Aspire micro-site in this category, following a previous win in 2023.

The B2B Marketing Exchange, powered by Emerald X, hosts the annual Killer Content Awards, celebrating its 14th year of recognizing B2B brands and agencies that excel in innovative campaign strategies. Since its inception, the awards have attracted over 2,200 nominations and celebrated more than 300 winners across 15 distinct categories.

The Sales Enablement category, in particular, applauds content that significantly enhances the efficacy of sales teams. This year, the competition was fierce with hundreds of entries, but only one could take the crown in each category. The winners were unveiled at the 2025 B2B Marketing Exchange in Scottsdale, Arizona, held from February 23-26.

Launched in 2021, Aspire serves as a comprehensive resource for Marketron's clientele of sellers and sales managers, providing a rich repository of over 460 posts that include articles, infographics, videos, interactive tools, e-books, on-demand webinars, case studies, and more. Noteworthy additions to the site include the "Ask the Expert" series, offering targeted advice on prevalent challenges in the industry.

The site's success is underscored by significant growth metrics: a 43% increase in subscriptions, a 34.5% rise in views, and a 20% uptick in visitor numbers in 2024 alone. Marketron's clientele has frequently shared positive feedback on how Aspire has been instrumental in addressing and solving key industry challenges.

Beth Osborne, Marketron's Director of Marketing and Content, expressed her pride at the awards ceremony, stating, "My first major project at Marketron was developing the strategy and content for Aspire. I always knew it was going to be special as a source of information and inspiration for local media sellers. I'm so proud of the work we do and share this recognition with the entire marketing team and company."
