MaxxKonnect, in partnership with AudioScience, has launched the RMT416 streaming radio multi-tuner. This new device, which leverages AudioScience's ASI2816 platform, will be available to broadcasters through major broadcast dealers starting in April, 2025.

The RMT416 is designed to support up to 16 tuners in a single 1RU chassis and offers separate antenna inputs for AM, FM, and NOAA Weather bands. It features advanced capabilities such as silence detection, carrier loss detection, and SNMP for network management. Each tuner is also equipped with its own streaming encoder and a balanced analog output using the StudioHub+ format, making this device highly adaptable to various broadcasting needs.

Nicole Santiago, Product Sales Manager at AudioScience, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration: "Our partnership with MaxxKonnect represents an exciting step forward for broadcasters. By exclusively powering the RMT416, we're ensuring that broadcasters gain access to cutting-edge technology, backed by MaxxKonnect's dedicated support team, at a price that outperforms the competition."

Josh Bohn, CEO of MaxxKonnect, highlighted the strategic advantages of the partnership: "The RMT416 is a perfect example of how our partnership with AudioScience is bringing scalability, value, and innovation to the broadcast industry. With this new tuner solution, broadcasters can rely on the proven and trusted performance of AudioScience, combined with MaxxKonnect's commitment to customer service, flexibility, and affordability."

The RMT416 promises high-performance capabilities for AM, FM, WB, and HD Radio tuners and seamless integration of streaming audio into broadcast workflows. It also features monitoring and alerting capabilities for each tuner, a full-featured, intuitive single-page web GUI, and industry-leading pricing that makes it a cost-effective option for broadcasters.

This product offers broadcasters a robust and flexible solution that meets their evolving needs for AM, FM, HD, and EAS tuners, setting a new standard in the broadcasting equipment market. The MaxxKonnect RMT416 will be available for purchase in late April 2025, with support provided by MaxxKonnect.
