BIA Advisory Services reports a significant slowdown in radio station sales activity in April 2025, following a surge in transactions the previous month. According to updated data from BIA, 44 commercial full-power radio station sales were filed with the FCC in April, representing a combined value of $7.9 million. That marks a notable decline from the 126 deals recorded in March.
Year-to-date, BIA calculates that 235 radio stations have been sold during the first four months of 2025, totaling $63.6 million in announced transactions. These figures are based on filings tracked through Media Access Pro and include only announced-not yet closed-sales.
The update was issued as a correction to BIA's April and year-to-date Radio & TV Transactions report.
