BIA Advisory Services is forecasting a 5.7% increase in Louisiana's advertising revenue in 2025, excluding political spending, pushing the total to $2.6 billion. The announcement came as part of a presentation delivered at the Louisiana State Broadcasters (LAB) Convention in New Orleans, offering fresh insights into advertising trends across the state.

According to BIA's U.S. Local Advertising Forecast for 2025, local television is expected to capture 11.8% of Louisiana's total ad spend, while local radio will claim 7.1%. Notably, the fastest-growing segment is digital media across both platforms, including connected TV (CTV) and over-the-top (OTT) channels.

"Louisiana's television, radio, CTV, and OTT sectors are forecasted to gain an additional $5.2 million next year, signaling significant momentum for the state's media markets," said Tom Buono, CEO and Founder of BIA Advisory Services. "This event will highlight the resilience and untapped potential of these platforms for Louisiana broadcasters, and our data will provide insights into the current landscape, helping to identify all available revenue opportunities."

BIA's presentation focused on key areas for growth, including deeper analysis of the state's top three ad-spending markets, the rise of CTV and OTT consumption, and the business sectors investing most heavily in broadcast advertising.

Christina Hurley, BIA's Vice President of Sales, delivered a summary of the firm's Louisiana State Advertising Report during the LAB board meeting lunch on May 28. BIA's state forecast and local market reports offer advertisers and media professionals detailed perspectives on competitive ad trends and emerging opportunities.
