Bloomberg Audio and Key Networks have announced that Hubbard Broadcasting's WTOP-FM, the all-News outlet serving the Washington, DC area, is the latest affiliate to carry the Bloomberg Business of Entertainment report. The 60-second feature offers listeners a quick, behind-the-scenes look at the biggest stories in the entertainment industry.

Launched in January, the Bloomberg Business of Entertainment is already heard on major market stations including WBBR-AM in New York, KNX-AM/FM in Los Angeles, WBOS-FM in Boston, and KCBS-AM & KFRC-FM in San Francisco. Now, WTOP joins that lineup, bringing the report to the nation's capital.

Hosted by Bloomberg's Lisa Mateo and Karen Moskow, the segment highlights shifts in how media is consumed, exploring trends across movies, music, streaming platforms, and social media. It also addresses the ongoing challenges faced by the entertainment industry.

Michael Lysak, Head of Bloomberg Radio Syndication, noted, "The entertainment business has always been fascinating to watch, but it has never been at a more crucial crossroads than it is today. The storyline of the industry itself has all of the drama of a Hollywood blockbuster."

Dennis Green, Chief Operating Officer of Key Networks, added, "Bloomberg covers the business of show business like no one else with the Business of Entertainment feature. These major market clearances are proof that this content is of interest to audiences, as well as advertisers."
