Radio Copy Paste, the world's only free digital magazine created by and for radio copywriters, has released its milestone fifth issue -- coinciding with the publication's one-year anniversary. Launched in June 2024 by veteran radio writer Earl Pilkington, the magazine has grown into a global resource for commercial radio creatives.
Now in its fifth installment, the June 2025 "IDEAS" issue delivers 80 pages packed with inspiration, insight, and practical tools tailored to the unique challenges faced by radio copywriters.
"This issue is your toolkit for generating ideas that actually work on-air," said Pilkington, Editor-in-Chief. "Whether you're facing a brutal deadline or your 100th car dealership brief of the month, it's a creative ideas power pack."
Issue highlights include:
- "Pitch! Please!" - A guide to selling scripts to sales reps and clients without the usual resistance.
- "The Voice Revolution" - A timely look at gender bias in radio voiceover casting.
- "The 15-Minute Idea Generation Workshop" - A fast-track cure for creative block.
- "Rory's Story Cubes for Copywriters" - A surprising toy helping writers break through mental fatigue.
- "Beyond the Best Before Date" - A rallying cry to creatives of every age and experience.
True to its mission, Radio Copy Paste continues to operate without ads, paywalls, or registration requirements. Since its inception, the magazine has been downloaded more than 6,580 times and offers a library of free resources including templates, e-books, and writing tools.
"This birthday issue doubles as both a celebration and a thank-you letter to the community who made it possible," said Pilkington.
The fifth edition, along with past issues and additional free tools, is available now at RadioCopywriters.com.
