Benztown Releases Audio Tribute Honoring Brian Wilson

Benztown has released a special audio tribute honoring Brian Wilson, the legendary founder, songwriter, producer, and singer of The Beach Boys, who passed away at the age of 82. The tribute can be heard at here.

Born on June 20, 1942, in Inglewood, CA, Wilson launched The Beach Boys in 1961 at just 19 years old, teaming up with his brothers Carl and Dennis Wilson, cousin Mike Love, and friend Al Jardine. The band quickly became one of the most influential and commercially successful groups in pop music history, selling over 100 million records worldwide.

Wilson was the creative force behind many of the group's iconic hits, including "Surfin' USA," "I Get Around," "Help Me, Rhonda," "California Girls," and "Good Vibrations." The group's 1966 release, Pet Sounds, is widely regarded as one of the greatest albums ever recorded.

In 1988, The Beach Boys were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, cementing their place in music history.

The Benztown tribute, voiced by Darren Silva and written and produced by Peter Murphy, celebrates Wilson's lasting legacy and musical genius.
