The 20th annual 93.3 WMMR I Bleed for Preston & Steve Blood Drive marked a major milestone this past week, rallying thousands of fans and supporters across the region for one of Philadelphia's most enduring community events. Held over two days -- June 12 at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia and June 13 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks -- the event collected a total of 930 units of blood, including donations from 74 first-time donors.

This year's drive brings the two-decade total to 21,999 units of blood donated, representing nearly 22,000 lives potentially saved through the loyal efforts of WMMR listeners and the broader community.

"As we reflect on 20 years of I Bleed for Preston & Steve, it's clear that this is so much more than a blood drive," said morning show hosts Preston & Steve. "It's a community coming together to make a real difference -- and every pint collected represents a life potentially saved!"

The event was powered by a longstanding partnership with the American Red Cross, whose staff and volunteers played a vital role in executing the massive effort. WMMR also credited Neumann Media at Neumann University, Window Nation -- which provided the event's signature tote bags -- and listener Kristen Kimball, designer of this year's commemorative t-shirt.

Adding to the spirit of the event were fellow WMMR personalities Jacky Bam Bam, Pierre Robert, and Brent Porche, who helped energize the crowd and celebrate this remarkable anniversary.
