SiriusXM will deliver live national radio coverage of The 153rd Open Championship, airing 45 hours of on-course play from July 17-20 at Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland.
Golf fans across the U.S. can follow the action on The Open Radio channel, available on channel 92 in vehicles and on the SiriusXM app. Coverage begins at 2am ET on Thursday and Friday, and at 4am ET on Saturday and Sunday, continuing through the end of play each day.
The broadcast will feature commentary from The R&A's official radio team, including Marcus Buckland, Sue Thearle, Robert Lee, Dave Farrar, Matt Adams, Sophie Walker, Raymond Burns, Amy Boulden, Paul Eales, and Harry Ewing. SiriusXM's Brendon de Jonge and Carl Paulson, along with Rupert Bell of talkSPORT 2, will also contribute.
Following each round, SiriusXM will air a live recap show hosted by Chantel McCabe, Jason Sobel, and Taylor Zarzour, offering analysis and a look ahead to the next day's competition.
In addition to live tournament coverage, SiriusXM's golf channel will feature a lineup of special programming throughout Open Championship Week. Highlights include:
- The Lucas Glover Show on Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET. Glover, a former U.S. Open champion who has played in 11 Open Championships, will compete at Royal Portrush.
- ANNIKA, hosted by 10-time major winner Annika Sorenstam, airs Wednesday at 8pm ET.
- The Rocco Hour, with nine-time Open Championship participant Rocco Mediate, airs tonight and again Tuesday at 7pm ET.
SiriusXM's coverage of The Open is made possible through its broadcast agreements with The R&A and NBCUniversal, which holds U.S. television rights to the event.
