''McFly and The Ride'' Launches with Radio Resources

Country radio veteran Marty McFly is teaming up with Radio Resources to launch "McFly and The Ride," a new syndicated program. The personality-driven show is the latest venture in McFly's radio career, which spans key on-air and programming roles at Country stations including WSM-FM, WKDF, WSIX, KNIX, and WGSQ. Over the past decade, McFly has also contributed to Westwood One and worked with WGKX in Memphis and WVLK in Lexington.

Joining McFly is longtime friend and former co-host Stew James, known for his work on WSM-FM and Westwood One. Rounding out the team is singer-songwriter Morgan Alexander, who brings original music features and content specifically crafted for the country radio audience.

"This is not a plug-and-play show," said McFly. "McFly and The Ride is built with local stations in mind - their listeners, their promotions, their revenue, their community. We are all from small towns where we're still very active in those communities and on the radio."

Already airing on WGSQ Cookeville since 1998, the program is built for flexibility and local customization. Stations can integrate local events, news, and promotions into the show's daily content -- whether it airs during mornings, middays, afternoons, or evenings.

The partnership also includes a dedicated Local Station Revenue Division, led by James, which focuses on helping affiliates boost their bottom line through non-traditional revenue (NTR) opportunities. Features include sponsored segments and custom promotions designed to generate income for local sales teams.

"We're not just handing over a show," said James. "We're partners for the GM, the sales team, and the PD-we're in it with you."

Rich O'Brien, Chief Development Officer at Radio Resources, praised McFly's ability to form real connections with listeners: "Marty McFly is the kind of personality who doesn't just do talk breaks... he connects with listeners like an old friend, bringing energy, heart and authenticity to every show."

McFly and The Ride is now available for syndication via Radio Resources.
