The Library of American Broadcasting Foundation (LABF) will spotlight NBC's 100th anniversary as part of this year's Giants of Broadcasting & Electronic Arts awards, set for Friday, November 14 at Gotham Hall in New York. The annual tribute celebrates individuals and organizations whose innovations and influence have shaped broadcasting and electronic media. NBC will be recognized for a century of defining U.S. television with cultural milestones across entertainment, sports, and news.

"For 100 years, NBC has been a pillar of American broadcasting," said LABF Co-Chairs Heidi Raphael, Chief Communications Officer of Beasley Media Group, and Jack Goodman, longtime communications attorney. "We are thrilled to recognize NBC's 100th anniversary celebration during this year's Giants of Broadcasting event and present the award on behalf of the network to Kristen Welker, moderator of Meet the Press, the longest-running program in network and broadcast history."

Welker will accept the honor on behalf of the network.
