I'm Listening

Audacy will mark World Suicide Prevention Day and National Suicide Prevention Month with its annual "I'm Listening" broadcast, airing across all Audacy stations nationwide the week of September 10. The special unites artists, newsmakers and mental health professionals to spotlight resources and the lifesaving value of open conversation around mental wellness.

Carson Daly (NBC's "TODAY," "The Voice") and Audacy's syndicated Country host Katie Neal ("Katie and Company") return as hosts. Joining them again in 2025 are Dr. Alfiee M. Breland-Noble, psychologist and founder of The AAKOMA Project, and Dr. Christine Yu Moutier, Chief Medical Officer of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). The program will set aside time for focused discussions on social media and AI, kids and families, veterans and first responders, postpartum depression, and more.

Confirmed celebrity guests include Cynthia Erivo, Audacy LAUNCH artist Alex Warren, Kane Brown, LISA, JENNIE, Lewis Capaldi, Kylie Minogue, Shirley Manson, Tate McRae, 311, Benny Blanco, Amy Lee, Ne-Yo and others.

"We know firsthand radio's unique superpower to make a meaningful difference in people's lives," said Dave Richards, Senior Vice President of Programming, Audacy. " 'I'm Listening' creates trusted, compassionate conversations that surround our listeners with both support and community... harnessing the full strength of our platforms to foster connection and inspire hope."

Beyond the broadcast, Audacy says it has raised over $2 million for national and local partners, including AFSP, through events such as the annual We Can Survive concert. This year's show -- starring Ed Sheeran, Goo Goo Dolls, Alex Warren and Shaboozey -- is set for Friday, September 26 at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. A portion of proceeds benefits AFSP's education, loss support, advocacy and community programs, including its "Talk Away the Dark" campaign.

Listeners can tune in on-air across all Audacy stations and via the Audacy app and website. Local schedules will be posted on station websites. The conversation continues on X and Instagram with #ImListeningLIVE.
