ESPN is bringing its two-show College Football Tailgate series back to campuses nationwide, giving fans a front-row seat to the action every weekend. The tour features Amber & Ian: On the Road on Friday nights and a Saturday morning broadcast live from prime tailgating spots, beginning Saturday, August 29. Both shows are hosted by ESPN Radio personalities Amber Wilson and Jonathan Zaslow.
"College football is all about passion, tradition and community," said Justin Craig, ESPN Vice President of Digital & Audio Production. "Amber and Jonathan are the perfect voices to capture the excitement on campus, and this tour allows us to not only showcase the games, but also connect with the next generation of fans and broadcasters in a truly meaningful way."
On Fridays, Amber & Ian: On the Road will air from 7-10pm ET, broadcasting from the town of the week's featured matchup. Wilson and Zaslow will cover top college football storylines, highlight NFL action, and set the stage for the weekend ahead.
The College Football Tailgate tour continues Saturdays at 10am ET with live coverage from ESPN Radio's Airstream trailer, parked at the center of major tailgating scenes. The program will include live reports from ESPN's on-site reporters, interviews with coaches and players, and behind-the-scenes content shared across ESPN Radio's social media channels.
For Wilson and Zaslow, the return of the series means reconnecting with fans at the heart of the sport. "There's no one I'd rather Tailgate with every week than the great Amber Wilson and all of you," said Zaslow. Wilson added, "There's nothing we've done that rivals the fun we have bringing the listener with us to the most passionate fan bases in all of sports."
