Audacy has unveiled "Simpsons Declassified with Nancy Cartwright," a weekly audio and video podcast that goes behind the scenes of The Simpsons, the longest-running scripted series in American primetime. The show premieres September 18 on YouTube and all major podcast platforms, with new episodes releasing Thursdays.

Cartwright -- best known as the voice of Bart Simpson and an array of Springfield regulars -- co-hosts with Sofy Kurtz. Episodes will feature untold stories, near-cut scenes, how Bart began mirroring Cartwright's real life, and the surprises that still catch her off guard. The series will also tackle the show's most talked-about "predictions" and enduring fan conspiracies, with themed games and appearances by guest stars, writers, directors, and notable fans.

Confirmed guests include Allison Janney, "Weird Al" Yankovic, and longtime Simpsons writer/producer and showrunner Mike Reiss, with more to be announced.

"'Simpsons Declassified' is a four-year labor of love for the fans," said Cartwright and series producer Monica Gil-Rodriguez in a joint statement. "We couldn't be more excited to partner with Leah Reis-Dennis and her team at Audacy to bring this dream project to life."

"Nancy Cartwright is the voice of a generation," said Leah Reis-Dennis, Head of Podcasts at Audacy. "With her singular insight and reflections, the show will thrill millions of Simpsons fans and offer an inside perspective as never heard before."

The podcast is produced by Monica Gil-Rodriguez (CRE84U Entertainment), who also serves as showrunner, and executive produced by Audacy's Leah Reis-Dennis alongside Gil-Rodriguez.
