iHeartMedia midday host Denise Plante of KWBL (106.7 The Bull)/Denver, who also hosts KWGN's Great Day Colorado and Fox 31's Weekend Vibe, will be inducted into the Colorado Broadcasters Hall of Fame on Friday, October 24. The ceremony will take place at The Dome at AMG in Greenwood Village, where Plante will become the first and only woman to receive the honor.

Plante has been a fixture in Denver media for nearly three decades, building a career that bridges radio, television, and digital platforms. Beyond her professional work, she has been deeply engaged in community service, helping raise millions for local nonprofits. She has dedicated countless hours as an emcee and host for charity galas and was recently recognized as one of the American Heart Association's "Colorado Leaders of Impact."

Earlier this year, Plante received the Colorado Broadcasters Association award for "Best Midday Show." Her personal commitment to causes like the American Heart Association and American Cancer Society stems from family loss: her father passed away from cancer in 2021, and her mother died after multiple strokes in 2024. Since then, she has made it a mission to support both organizations, helping raise over $2 million for their Denver chapters.

The October 24 Hall of Fame ceremony will bring together leaders from across the Colorado broadcasting industry and will also feature a post-event casino night benefiting Firefly Autism and the Broadcast Education & Development Scholarship Fund.
